Jun 5, 2010 · trying to get through mksap but its a real chore. That means MKSAP 19 should come out during your PGY2 year - plenty of time to start studying for the boards then. And when I come home around 530- I like to run for 20 minutes. Just wondering when I should start using MKSAP? I learn best with questions and am kind of eager to start using it. Would be reasonable to browse some questions in MKSAP 17 during the course of intern year if you already have it available. By the time I shower and a quick eat and have time to study its 630. Is there a big enough difference between MKSAP 17 and 18 to justify buying 18 if I already went through 17? Exam is slated for mid August. Jul 5, 2008 · i've been told by many former residents and attendings that mksap is harder than the abim itself. as i've yet to take the abim, i can only give you this anecdotal info. Let me know what works best. Rotations are from 7- 5 pm usually - medicine ones start around 5 or 6.
